Paul Auerbach, M.D. writes a blog named Medicine for the Outdoors on Healthline.com. He's posted a quick list of outdoor medical myths and debunked each one. It's a fun read for those into such things.
I note though, as interesting as it is, that only a few items on Paul's list relate closely to what we most often see here in western Washington. I've posted lists of myths before, but I'm interested in any other often heard myths that specifically relate to what we are likely to see. If you have one or more, leave a comment.
