EMT CBTs
EMT Competency Based Training (CBT) is continuing education required annually of all King County EMTs. There is both an online and practical portion of this training.

Qtr 1 & 2 May 23rd (6pm - 10pm) - Sick-Not Sick, Adult CPR, Soft Tissues, & Peds
Qtr 3 July 18th (6pm - 10pm) - Altered Mental States & Abdominal Pain
Qtr 4 Dec 15th (9am - 12pm) - Infectious Disease, Child/Infant CPR
Plus: AED Defib every quarter

All attendees must RSVP, and have all their 2007 CBT written exams completed online.
PLEASE NOTE: In addition to the annual CBT, all King County EMTs are required to maintain the CPR skills by completing either an American Red Cross CPR For The Professional Rescuer refresher, or an American Heart Association Healthcare Provider refresher, annually. Proof of your completion of these refreshers will be required to recertify at the end of each three year cycle.
