Governing Body List

The KCSARA Governing Body group list is a list for the KCSARA Governing Body. To receive this list as Email you need to be a member of the KCSARA Governing Body.

Unit Leaders please review and make available to the membership. King County Sheriff’s Department, in conjunction with King County EMS recognizes two levels of BLS, the first responder ( first aider) and the EMT. Advanced first aiders do not have oversight by Dr. Eisenberg, however, there are national standards which define what they can and can not do. For example, OEC is recognized at the Advanced First Aid level. The attached document will help to clarify the categories.
