Intro to Emergency Worker

King County Sheriff’s Office requires the Introduction to Emergency Worker course for all SAR members who joined after January 1st, 2004. This is a one-time-only requirement, there is no refresher offered.

This class will provide participants with a general understanding of the forms, paperwork, requirements, and legal environment of the Emergency Worker program.

New this year, the Exposure Control Plan has been added to the Introduction to Emergency Worker curriculum so that all new members will be presented this information. Existing members will be presented the same material though seminars at regularly scheduled meetings, and other means.
